“Discover Hedgerows” Success Tours: Over the 2026 summer, we visited two farms (Helsing Junction Farms & Piece by Piece Farm). The farmers, our Thurston Conservation District colleagues, and the original hedgerow designers on our team spent the evening discussing the hedgerows that had been installed there. We covered everything from the farmer’s goals, installation methods, success/challenges so far, budget/costs, plant survival, and much more. View the write-ups for those two events on this page.
